Library 2.015 Worldwide Virtual Conference, October 20, 2015

Library 2.015 Worldwide Virtual Conference is organized by School of Library and Information Science, San Jose State University, California, United States on October 20, 2015. Our College, Sri Sarada College for Women, Tirunelveli is one of the partner organizations of the conference. Librarian B.Vijayalakshmi has presented a paper on "Mobile Access on Library Services". Report on Open Source Softwares for Modern Library Services 31/10/2015

              With the Lighting of Kuthu Vilaku by Revered Swami Bhakthanandaji, Administrator, Revered Yatiswari Saravanabhavapriya Amba, Secretary, Dr Smt M.Malarvizhi, Principal of College, SALIS Advisor, S.Suriyanarayanan Sir, Dr.K.Murugan, Chairman, SALIS Tirunelveli Chapter, Aarathi by Swamiji & Prayer Song by Vanitha Priya, III Economics the programme was started. The Welcome address was given by B.Vijayalakshmi, Librarian. Swamiji, Ambaji have blessed the gathering, Our Principal has given Presidential Address followed by Memento Presentation. Oath Taking on Reading Habit & Books was conducted by Dr K.Murugan Sir. S.Suriyanarayanan Sir has inaugurated the session. Seminar CD has been released by Swamiji & received by S.Suriyanarayanan Sir. Smt.C.Hema has felicitated the function. J.Aarumugam, Excecutive, TCS, Chennai has given overview of the Seminar. Smt S.Gomathy, Assistant Librarian has given Vote of Thanks.

                   Participants get chance to learn by hands on training.  22 Participants from various Colleges have participated enthusiastically. At the valvaledictory function, Feedback was given by participants. Participants were honored by Certificate & Daily Divine distribution by Amba . With the National Anthem, the programme came to an end.
