Library Exhibition

        We are conducting exhibition at our Library for today & tomorrow (31/01/11 - 01/02/11). We have displayed Reference Books, Encyclopedia,  Thesaurus, Lexicon, Handbook, Atlas, Microfilm, Gazeetter & so on. Our students explain how to search, what resources have to be consulted to search specific information & demo of OPAC search, Internet Search. We have invited several schools for the exhibition. All departments of our College arranged Exhibition in their subject.

Library Visit & MOU With Library of St Xavier's College

            On 18/01/2011, We, Our Library Staff(B.Vijayalakshmi, Librarian, Smt.S.SubbuLakshmi, Assistant Librarian, Smt P.Vijayalakshmi, Library Assistant, Smt.A.AlaguMuthammal, Library Assistant, Smt.S.Vennila) have visited Library of St Xavier's College, Palayamkottai. The Librarian, Dr.C.Martin Sir has permitted & guided us. We all have good experience of big, good library there.It is very useful to all of us.
            And  The Librarian, Dr.C.Martin Sir has signed Memorandum Of Understanding of Inter Library Reference. This is great opportunity for our College Staff & Students. Here I would like to thank St Xavier's College Librarian.

Industrial Visit with Economics Department

On 30th Dec'2010, i went to Industrial Visit  to Tuticorin Harbor arranged by Economics department Staff, Smt.Kalavathi, HOD, Miss N.Vijayalakshmi, Smt.Rajeswari, Miss.S.Geetha. We & 41 students of Economics Department went there. Economics department staff Dr.Rajeswari got permission from Harbor Staff, Mr.Vasekaran, Sun TV Chief Reporter. They guided well & allowed us to get into Ship also. We have seen the moving Ship to get landed there. i had a nice time. I thank Secretary, Principal especially Economics Dept Staff.
