Library Advisory Committee Meeting is held on 24/06/2015. Our Principal,  Our Secretary, Head of the Departments from all departments were participated & discussed the Library issues on implementing Barcode Technology in Library, Initiating Institutional Repository in Library, Book & Journal Publication activities.

Fresher Orientation Programme 23/06/2015

Fresher Orientation Programme has been organised for our First Year Students. With the aid of Power Point Presentation, Library Resources, Services has been explained to them by Librarian. 2 Skits has been arranged in the theme of Inculcating Reading Habit. Our Assistant Librarian Smt. S.Gomathy Mam has explained the rules; regulations for the Students.Our Guest Smt.Thamburati Mam, Asst Professor, English Department has shared her experience & importance of Library.

Digital Literacy Skill Classes, 04.02.15

         Digital Literacy Skill Classes are being commenced for interested hostel students after the working hours. Here they learn about Information Search. E-book & E-journals Access, Maps, Photo Sharing, Email ID creation, Email Processing be so on.            

Library Exhibition, 11.02.15

            Library Exhibition has been organized for the School Students on 11.2.15 & 12.2.15 various Reference Sources, Demo of OPAC Search, Google Search have been displayed for the students.

UGC NET GUIDANCE CLASS

              UGC NET – LIBRARY & INFORMATION SCIENCE guidance class has been conducted for one student by Librarian  on 04.11.14 from 10.00 am. To 5.00 pm.

Readers Forum

       Readers Forum are being conducted at the hostel in the evening time. Interested Students  get involved in it. They review & discuss the books which they have read.

Conference Report March 2nd, 2015

         Sri.P.Pichappan, Research Professor, Zhejiang University of Technology, China has been the Chair Person of the Conference. Around 110 Participants & Presenters from various Disciplines, various States were attended the Conference. Our Chief Guest has guided our participants while they are presenting their paper for Scholarly Publication.
