LIBRARIAN'S DAY
Today, August 9 is celebrated as Librarian's on remembrance of Dr.S.R.Ranganathan, Father of Library Science, who played vital role in Library Science education in India, Initiation of Library Science Associations, Library Acts in India & who have contributed much to Library Science.
In our college, we have celebrated this day with open quiz to all the students about our college Library. We have asked 20 simple questions about the library, which can be answered by the regular visitor of Library. Through this, we create awareness of our Library among the non visitors of the Library. They may come after knowing certain facilities. The main aim is to attract more students to Library. Though many know the answers, very few of them, responded. But,they enjoyed the quiz. And Secretary Amba gave prizes to the winners.
Here i thank Principal & Secretary for providing consant support for Library Activities.
